Congratulations to the SHS Band!

The students did a tremendous job Saturday.  As always, they also conducted themselves in a respectable manner during the entire trip.

Band ahead of schedule-should arrive by 5:30.

Also: In our class., Best Auxiliaries, Best Percussion, First Place. In Gold Division: Best Overall Music, Best Overall Percussion, Best Overall Auxiliaries. GRAND CHAMPION!

Southern Invitational Music Festival results: Siegel had the highest music award out of 20 bands! This earned us The Dan Martin Award for Music Excellence.

Kennasaw Results: Siegel won 1st in our class, Best Colorguard, Best Drum Major, Best Precussion

Siegel band has arrived at the Southern Invitational. Performance time is 8:15.

Band is lining up to perform. Wind has become less strong, but it is cold.

Practice over. Kids have 1 hr to change and eat. Performance at 5:15

Updates for the week of October 12th

Full Band Practice Monday Oct. 12 3:30 - 6:30 and usual practice Tuesday and Thursday.

Booster Club Meeting Tuesday Oct. 13 at 6:00 PM.

This Friday is pictures for Percussion & Guard, Senior Night and 8th Grade Band Visit night. Senior parents should be on the North End of the Football track area at 6:40pm. Students should check Director's schedule for their instructions.

Parents going on this weekend's trip: we plan on taking the grill to the competition. Parents are invited to bring what they want to grill and a side dish or dessert for tailgating while the kids are practicing at Kennesaw. Please note Carrie is providing food for Students Only.


Hotel Information: Check in time is 3:00pm. For parents who wish to check in before our performance, you may go directly to hotel and check in after 3:00pm.


As a reminder, if a parent/guardian plans to sign out their student after an away performance, they MUST personally speak to their student's bus chaperone as well as completing the signed form.
