Updates for week of December 5th

Fruit will be delivered this Friday, December 9, at the school.

Citrus will hopefully be delivered around 6 am and we will start sorting as soon as possible after that. If you can be there early to help unload the fruit, please let me know so I can notify you when I get the actual delivery time.

We will also need help between 7 am and 11 am, when we will be inspecting and sorting the fruit. Any amount of time you have available (no matter how short) is always welcome. We will be working in the rear hallway near the band and choir rooms. If you have any hand trucks or push carts, please bring them if you come to help-they are very useful in sorting the fruit and delivering the fruit. Help will also be needed in the afternoon for picking up orders and loading them into cars.

Fruit should be picked up any time between 1 pm and 5 pm on Friday. Please contact Susan Kulp with any questions (see your email for contact info.)

The Murfreesboro Christmas parade is this Sunday, 12/11.

Students should be dropped off at the MTSU entrance on E Main Street and in place at 1:30pm. The parade starts at 2:00. This is a NEW starting location for the parade. There are other options to get into the campus other than of off E Main so you may want to plan your arrival route.

Please remember to arrive with the complete uniform on and instrument ready, no cases or hat box, etc. We will march down Main St and end around Walnut St, near the Music Stop. Parking will be very limited at the parade start area so make your plans accordingly especially since we do not provide transportation back to the starting point. We are the 3rd band in the parade.

Please remember to NOT bring your instrument cases, hat boxes, etc. to the parade staging area as we have no ability to transport them to the ending parade location.
